Rocio The ketch rig of Rocio is of identical proportions to the masthead Whitbread yachts, the inspiration to the owner and designer who requested a 25m ketch that would be fast, easy to manoeuvre, comfortable and keenly priced. On this premise, Tony Castro and SYS configured a system for the build of individually designed wood/epoxy boats which was both quick and economic.

This yacht was the first of its type and from its launch has proven the method to be very economical. It is immensely strong structurally and creates excellent noise, thermal and vibration insulation properties. Although speed was high on the priority list, little compromise was made throughout the interior. The uncluttered design layout features a very large saloon with easy access to two guest cabins and the owner's stateroom.
