Sea Lion
Sea Lion is a 67 ft Yawl built by Abeking and Rasmussen in 1953.
She has undergone an almost complete rebuild at SYS. A large number of frames have been replaced and new ring frames at the mast have been constructed to improve strength in this area.
The hull was completely replanked and new deck and dog house was constructed following the original plans. A new interior, engineering and electrical systems and deck fittings enables the owner to sail the yacht in greater comfort with fewer hands.
The refit was not intended to be a faithful restoration but rather a rebuild to extend the life and practicality of this pretty design.
